Tato sada, vytvo\u0159en\u00e1 speci\u00e1ln\u011b pro 9. \u0161achovou olympi\u00e1du v roce 1950 v Jugosl\u00e1vii, p\u0159edstavuje jednu z nejradik\u00e1ln\u011bj\u0161\u00edch designov\u00fdch revoluc\u00ed v historii \u0161achu. C\u00edlem sady, kterou navrhl \u010dernohorsk\u00fd mal\u00ed\u0159 a socha\u0159 Petar Po\u010dek, bylo sjednotit sv\u011bt prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm sjednocuj\u00edc\u00ed s\u00edly hry po druh\u00e9 sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lce. Tato sada, kter\u00e1 vznikla v pohrani\u010dn\u00edm m\u011bst\u011b Subotica a byla vyrobena v legend\u00e1rn\u00edch subozansk\u00fdch d\u00edln\u00e1ch, je mocn\u00fdm symbolem zlat\u00e9ho v\u011bku Jugosl\u00e1vie ve sv\u011bt\u011b \u0161achu. Tyto figurky p\u0159edstavuj\u00ed dobu, kdy \u0161achy zako\u0159enily jako skute\u010dn\u00e1 lidov\u00e1 kultura, kterou najdete v ka\u017ed\u00e9 dom\u00e1cnosti, \u0161kole i ve\u0159ejn\u00e9m parku.
