Juego de ajedrez conmemorativo de Mija\u00edl Chigorin<\/b><\/h3>

Basado en el retrato de Chigorin, el conjunto antiguo y el art\u00edculo de Orhan G\u00fcnsav de 1999.<\/b><\/p>

Esta exposici\u00f3n muestra un hist\u00f3rico juego de ajedrez ruso junto a una fotograf\u00eda original del legendario maestro ruso Mikhail Chigorin (1850-1908). El art\u00edculo de Orhan G\u00fcnsav, ex fiscal jefe de Estambul y presidente de la Federaci\u00f3n Turca de Ajedrez durante 20 a\u00f1os, que acompa\u00f1a a la exposici\u00f3n, relata la dram\u00e1tica historia de la llegada de este juego a Turqu\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>

La historia del plat\u00f3:<\/b> El art\u00edculo relata el gran desgaste emocional que el ajedrez supuso para Chigorin, concretamente tras una desgarradora derrota ante Steinitz en 1892. En un momento de desesperaci\u00f3n, Chigorin quem\u00f3 sus juegos de ajedrez en su jard\u00edn. S\u00f3lo salv\u00f3 un juego especial: un regalo del Zar de Rusia.<\/span><\/p>

La historia del conjunto espec\u00edfico expuesto contin\u00faa con Selim Palavan, el primer campe\u00f3n de ajedrez de Turqu\u00eda. La familia de Palavan, turcos de Kaz\u00e1n residentes en Rusia, sobrevivi\u00f3 ilesa a la revoluci\u00f3n. En 1912, recibieron una fotograf\u00eda hist\u00f3rica de Chigorin junto con un juego de ajedrez encargado por el Zar en su memoria. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, cuando la guerra lleg\u00f3 a Odesa, la familia se traslad\u00f3 a Ruman\u00eda y finalmente lleg\u00f3 a Estambul en 1943, llevando consigo el hist\u00f3rico juego.<\/span><\/p>

A\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, Selim Palavan desarroll\u00f3 un profundo v\u00ednculo con H. Serta\u00e7 Dalk\u0131ran. Traduciendo directamente del art\u00edculo de Orhan G\u00fcnsav, describe c\u00f3mo el conjunto cambi\u00f3 de manos:<\/span><\/p>

\u201cDebido a su estilo de juego y a su arduo trabajo por el ajedrez en nuestro pa\u00eds, Palavan ve\u00eda a Dalk\u0131ran como el \u2018Chigorin de Turqu\u00eda\u2019. En su testamento, regal\u00f3 a Dalk\u0131ran el hist\u00f3rico juego de ajedrez que el Zar hab\u00eda hecho en memoria de Chigorin, junto con la vieja fotograf\u00eda amarilla.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>

Hoy, Dalk\u0131ran conserva meticulosamente este juego junto al ajedrez personal de Atat\u00fcrk.<\/span>
