Plut\u00f4t qu'une modification ult\u00e9rieure, ces pi\u00e8ces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 produites \u00e0 la source afin d'\u00eatre neutres sur le plan symbolique. Elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 apport\u00e9es en Turquie par des immigr\u00e9s turcs de Bulgarie et sont rapidement devenues un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel de l'Association d'\u00e9checs d'Istanbul (\u0130SD) apr\u00e8s 1965.
