Assis devant un grand meuble et v\u00eatu d'une robe traditionnelle ottomane et d'un turban, le Turc m\u00e9canique a d\u00e9fi\u00e9 et vaincu certains des esprits les plus puissants de l'histoire, dont Napol\u00e9on Bonaparte et Benjamin Franklin.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>L'humain au milieu des engrenages<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span>Pendant des d\u00e9cennies, le monde a cru voir une v\u00e9ritable \u201cmachine \u00e0 penser\u201d. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, l'appareil \u00e9tait un chef-d'\u0153uvre d'illusion. L'int\u00e9rieur de l'armoire a \u00e9t\u00e9 astucieusement con\u00e7u pour cacher un ma\u00eetre d'\u00e9checs humain professionnel, qui changeait de position au fur et \u00e0 mesure que les portes \u00e9taient ouvertes au public. \u00c0 l'aide d'un m\u00e9canisme de pantographe et d'indicateurs magn\u00e9tiques situ\u00e9s sous l'\u00e9chiquier, le joueur cach\u00e9 surveillait les mouvements de son adversaire et ex\u00e9cutait les siens gr\u00e2ce au bras m\u00e9canique du Turc.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Un h\u00e9ritage moderne<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span>Le Turc m\u00e9canique est plus qu'une histoire de tromperie ; c'est un symbole de l'\u00e9ternelle fascination de l'humanit\u00e9 pour l'intelligence des machines et de la peur qu'elle \u00e9prouve \u00e0 son \u00e9gard. Ce n'est pas un hasard si Amazon a baptis\u00e9 aujourd'hui sa plateforme de micro-t\u00e2ches \u201cMechanical Turk\u201d.
