Njema\u010dka rije\u010d \u201cschach\u201d, francuska \u201c\u00e9checs\u201d i engleska \u201cchess\u201d sve su fonetski izvedene iz rije\u010di \u201cshah\u201d. Termin \u201c\u015eAH\u00ce\u201d kao pridjev zna\u010di kraljevski ili specifi\u010dan za \u0161aha. Tako\u0111er se u knji\u017eevnim tekstovima koristi u zna\u010denju sna\u017ean i veli\u010danstven.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Top \u015eAH\u00ce, dizajniran od strane ma\u0111arskog in\u017eenjera Orbana, odigrao je klju\u010dnu ulogu u probijanju masivnih zidina i kula Konstantinopola tijekom opsade 1453. godine pod vodstvom Fatih Sultana Mehmeda, simboliziraju\u0107i revolucionarni pomak u ratovanju opsadom.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Tri stolje\u0107a nakon osvajanja Istanbula, tijekom operacije na Dardanelima 1807. godine, s jo\u0161 jednog stolje\u0107ima starog topa \u015eAH\u00ce ispaljen je hitac na britanske brodove, uzrokuju\u0107i zna\u010dajne gubitke. Osmanski sultan Abd\u00fclaziz poklonio je ovaj top kraljici Viktoriji 1866. godine. Elegantno predstavlja povijest i evoluciju \u0161aha te je izra\u0111en za obrazovnu i turnirsku upotrebu. Dizajniran je da bude kulturno i duhovno inkluzivan.
