Si noti il design elegante e altamente stilizzato dei pezzi del re e della regina con mini-cupola finale.<\/p><p>Al di l\u00e0 del suo fascino estetico, questo stile di set \u00e8 stato il campo di battaglia per l'evoluzione degli scacchi moderni. La sua eredit\u00e0 \u00e8 perfettamente catturata dalla famosa fotografia del leggendario torneo di Carlsbad del 1929, in cui si vede il vincitore finale dell'evento, Aron Nimzowitsch, riunito attorno a questi stessi pezzi insieme a Viktor Tietz e al campione del mondo Alexander Alekhine.
