Nessa \u00e9poca, o \u201cc\u201d (antes do \u201ce\u201d) e o \u201cx\u201d eram usados para capturar foneticamente o som \u201csh\u201d herdado do \u00e1rabe <i data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"234\">Shatranj<\/i>.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Ajedrez (S\u00e9culo XV):<\/b> Com a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do idioma, o som \u201csh\u201d mudou para o moderno \u201cj\u201d gutural (o <i data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"112\">jota<\/i>). A mudan\u00e7a mec\u00e2nica: \u201cEl Viejo\u201d vs. \u201cDe la Dama\u201d<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"1\">Enquanto o nome fon\u00e9tico estava mudando, as regras estavam passando por uma expans\u00e3o revolucion\u00e1ria de poder que alterou completamente o ritmo do jogo. Essa transi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 melhor definida pelos dois sistemas descritos na obra de Lucena de 1497:<\/p>\n\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"2\">\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">El Viejo (O Caminho Antigo):<\/b> Isso representa as regras medievais tradicionais do Acedrex, em que o jogo era uma luta lenta e posicional. Nesse sistema, a pe\u00e7a que hoje chamamos de Dama era o Alferza (o conselheiro do rei), que se limitava a mover-se apenas uma casa na diagonal. Simultaneamente, o Alfil tradicional se limitava a saltar exatamente duas casas na diagonal, saltando sobre outras pe\u00e7as.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">De la Dama (O Caminho Moderno):<\/b> Esse \u201cnovo\u201d estilo de jogo transformou o xadrez em um confronto \u201cr\u00e1pido, t\u00e1tico e explosivo\u201d. Sob essas regras, a Alferza foi substitu\u00edda pela \u201cDama\u201d, que ganhou alcance ilimitado em todas as dire\u00e7\u00f5es. Enquanto o \u201cLibro de los Juegos (1283)\u201d do rei Alfonso X introduziu pela primeira vez o movimento diagonal ilimitado por meio de uma pe\u00e7a espec\u00edfica chamada Crocodilo (<i data-path-to-node=\"0\" data-index-in-node=\"298\">Cocodrilo<\/i>), o nome \u201cAlfil\u201d n\u00e3o foi reaplicado a esse movimento no jogo padr\u00e3o 8\u00d78 at\u00e9 o final do s\u00e9culo XV.<\/p>\n\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"1\"><b data-path-to-node=\"1\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">1. O \u201cCrocodilo\u201d no livro de Alfonso (1283)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">No \u201cLibro de los Juegos\" de Alfonso X<i data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"15\">\u201c<\/i>, Na \u00e9poca, o Alfil padr\u00e3o ainda era a pe\u00e7a medieval tradicional que saltava exatamente dois quadrados na diagonal. No entanto, Alfonso incluiu uma variante 12\u00d712 expandida chamada \u201cGrande Acedrex<b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"199\">\u201c<\/b> (Great Chess), que apresentava uma nova pe\u00e7a chamada \u201cCrocodile\u201d (<i data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"278\">Cocodrilo<\/i>).<\/p>\n\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"3\">\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">O movimento:<\/b> O Crocodile se movia exatamente como a pe\u00e7a moderna - deslizando qualquer dist\u00e2ncia ao longo de diagonais desobstru\u00eddas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">A inspira\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/b> Os historiadores associam esse nome a um famoso presente diplom\u00e1tico: um crocodilo vivo enviado pelo Sult\u00e3o do Egito a Alfonso X em 1260, como parte de uma proposta de casamento para a filha do rei. Um modelo de madeira em tamanho real desse crocodilo, conhecido como \u201cLagarto<i data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"198\">\u201c<\/i>, O livro de fotos, que ainda hoje est\u00e1 pendurado na Catedral de Sevilha.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">2. A mudan\u00e7a para \u201cAlfil\u201d no s\u00e9culo XV<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">O nome \u201cAlfil\u201d foi oficialmente usado para o movimento diagonal ilimitado no jogo padr\u00e3o 8\u00d78 ap\u00f3s a \u201cReforma Valenciana\u201d por volta de 1475.<\/p>\n\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"6\">\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Scachs d'amor (c. 1475):<\/b> Esse poema valenciano \u00e9 a primeira obra liter\u00e1ria a descrever as regras modernas do xadrez. Ele atribui explicitamente a essa pe\u00e7a um \u201cpapel mais din\u00e2mico\u201d, movendo o m\u00e1ximo de casas poss\u00edvel na diagonal. No poema, essas pe\u00e7as j\u00e1 s\u00e3o chamadas de \u201cAlfil\u201d (em valenciano\/catal\u00e3o), ilustrando que o nome foi transferido do antigo \u201cjumper\u201d para o novo \u201cslider\u201d durante esse per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Libre dels jochs partits dels schacs (1495):<\/b> Escrito por Francesc Vicent, esse livro perdido \u00e9 considerado o primeiro tratado sobre o xadrez moderno. Acredita-se que ele tenha padronizado o nome \u201cAlfil\u201d para o novo movimento na Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">3. Primeira apari\u00e7\u00e3o na literatura castelhana (espanhola)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">Se estiver procurando especificamente por literatura castelhana (espanhola) em vez de valenciana, o primeiro uso definitivo de \u201cAlfil\u201d para o movimento moderno est\u00e1 em:<\/p>\n\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"9\">\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Repeti\u00e7\u00e3o de Amores e Arte de Ajedrez (1497):<\/b> Escrito por Luis Ram\u00edrez de Lucena, este \u00e9 o mais antigo livro impresso sobre xadrez moderno em castelhano que ainda existe.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\">Lucena se refere \u00e0 pe\u00e7a como Alfil (ou Arfil) e faz distin\u00e7\u00e3o entre as \u201cnovas\u201d regras (de la dama) e as \u201cantigas\u201d regras (el viejo).
