Observe os designs elegantes e altamente estilizados das pe\u00e7as do rei e da rainha com o final em c\u00fapula de minion.<\/p><p>Al\u00e9m de seu charme est\u00e9tico, esse estilo de conjunto foi literalmente o campo de batalha para a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do xadrez moderno. Seu legado \u00e9 perfeitamente capturado na famosa fotografia do lend\u00e1rio torneio de Carlsbad de 1929, onde o vencedor final do evento, Aron Nimzowitsch, pode ser visto reunido em torno dessas mesmas pe\u00e7as ao lado de Viktor Tietz e do campe\u00e3o mundial Alexander Alekhine.
