V tem sistemu je bila figura, ki jo danes imenujemo Dama, Alferza (kraljev svetovalec), ki se je lahko premaknila le za en kvadrat po diagonali. Hkrati je bil tradicionalni Alfil omejen na preskok natanko dveh kvadratov po diagonali, pri \u010demer je lahko presko\u010dil druge figure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">De la Dama (Sodobna pot):<\/b> Ta \u201cnovi\u201d slog igre je spremenil \u0161ah v \u201chitro, takti\u010dno in eksplozivno\u201d igro. V skladu s temi pravili je bil \u0161ah Alferza nadome\u0161\u010den s \u0161ahom Dama, ki je dobil neomejen domet v vse smeri. Medtem ko je kralj Alfonz X. v knjigi Libro de los Juegos (1283) prvi\u010d predstavil neomejeno diagonalno potezo s posebno figuro, imenovano Krokodil (<i data-path-to-node=\"0\" data-index-in-node=\"298\">Cocodrilo<\/i>), se je ime \u201cAlfil\u201d za to gibanje v standardni igri 8\u00d78 za\u010delo uporabljati \u0161ele konec 15. stoletja.<\/p>\n\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"1\"><b data-path-to-node=\"1\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">1. Krokodil v Alfonzovi knjigi (1283)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">V \u201cLibro de los Juegos\" Alfonsa X.<i data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"15\">\u201c<\/i>, je bil standardni Alfil \u0161e vedno tradicionalna srednjeve\u0161ka figura, ki je po diagonali presko\u010dila natanko dve polji. Vendar pa je Alfonso vklju\u010deval raz\u0161irjeno razli\u010dico 12\u00d712, imenovano \u201cGrande Acedrex\".<b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"199\">\u201c<\/b> (Great Chess), ki je vseboval novo figuro, imenovano \u201cKrokodil\u201d (<i data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"278\">Cocodrilo<\/i>).<\/p>\n\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"3\">\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Gibanje:<\/b> Krokodil se je gibal povsem enako kot sodobna figura - drsel je na poljubno razdaljo po neoviranih diagonalah.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Navdih:<\/b> Zgodovinarji to ime povezujejo z znamenitim diplomatskim darilom: \u017eivim krokodilom, ki ga je egiptovski sultan leta 1260 poslal Alfonzu X. kot del ponudbe za poroko kraljeve h\u010derke. Leseni model tega krokodila v naravni velikosti, znan kot \u201cLagarto<i data-path-to-node=\"3,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"198\">\u201c<\/i>, ki \u0161e danes visi v katedrali v Sevilli.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">2. Prehod na \u201cAlfil\u201d v 15. stoletju<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Ime \u201cAlfil\u201d se je za neomejeno gibanje po diagonali v standardni igri 8\u00d78 uradno za\u010delo uporabljati po \u201cvalencijski reformi\u201d okoli leta 1475.<\/p>\n\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"6\">\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Scachs d'amor (ok. 1475):<\/b> Ta valencijska pesem je prvo literarno delo, v katerem so opisana sodobna \u0161ahovska pravila. Izrecno daje tej figuri \u201cbolj dinami\u010dno vlogo\u201d, saj se po diagonali premakne na toliko polj, kolikor jih lahko. V pesmi se te figure \u017ee imenujejo \u201cAlfil\u201d (v valencij\u0161\u010dini\/katalon\u0161\u010dini), kar ponazarja, da je bilo ime v tem obdobju preneseno s starega \u201cskakalca\u201d na novega \u201cdrsalca\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Libre dels jochs partits dels schacs (1495):<\/b> To izgubljeno knjigo je napisal Francesc Vicent in velja za prvo razpravo o sodobnem \u0161ahu. Domneva se, da je standardizirala ime \u201cAlfil\u201d za novo gibanje na Iberskem polotoku.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">3. Prvi pojav v kastiljski (\u0161panski) literaturi<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">\u010ce i\u0161\u010dete kastiljsko (\u0161pansko) in ne valencijansko literaturo, je prva dokon\u010dna uporaba besede \u201cAlfil\u201d za sodobno potezo v:<\/p>\n\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"9\">\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Repetici\u00f3n de Amores y Arte de Ajedrez (1497):<\/b> To je najstarej\u0161a ohranjena tiskana knjiga o sodobnem \u0161ahu v kastilj\u0161\u010dini, ki jo je napisal Luis Ram\u00edrez de Lucena.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\">Lucena imenuje skladbo Alfil (ali Arfil) in razlikuje med \u201cnovimi\u201d pravili (de la dama) in \u201cstarimi\u201d pravili (el viejo).
